The Untitled Five Nights at Freddy's film is an upcoming horror movie based on the popular video game franchise of the same name. The film is being produced by Blumhouse Productions, a production company known for its horror films, and will be directed by Chris Columbus.

Jason Blum is the founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions, which he started in 2000. Since then, the company has produced a number of successful horror films, including the Paranormal Activity series, Insidious, The Purge, and Get Out. Blum has been involved in the production of many of these films, serving as a producer and executive producer.

The Five Nights at Freddy's franchise was created by Scott Cawthon and first released in 2014. The games are set in a fictional pizza restaurant called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where players take on the role of a security guard who must survive the night while being stalked by animatronic robots that come to life and attack.

The film adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy's has been in development since 2015, with several different filmmakers and studios attached to the project at different times. In 2018, Blumhouse Productions announced that they had acquired the rights to the film and would be producing it with Columbus directing.

Little is known about the plot of the film or who will be starring in it, but it is expected to follow the basic premise of the games. The film is currently in pre-production, and it is unclear when it will be released.

Blum and his team at Blumhouse Productions are known for creating successful horror films on a relatively low budget, relying on strong storytelling, suspense, and jump scares to create a memorable and terrifying experience for audiences. With their track record and experience in the horror genre, the Five Nights at Freddy's film is sure to be a highly anticipated release for horror fans and fans of the game franchise alike.
